Disclaimer
1. General Information Only
The content published on Laenethy Writers Magazine (laenethy.com) is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to constitute, and should not be construed as, professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal advice, financial advice, literary agency services, career counselling, or publishing consultancy.
While we make every effort to ensure that our content is accurate, up-to-date, and useful, the writing and publishing industry changes rapidly. Information that was accurate at the time of publication may become outdated. Always verify important information through current, authoritative sources before making decisions.
2. No Professional Relationship
Reading content on Laenethy Writers Magazine does not establish any professional relationship between you and Harbinger Bros. LLC or any of our editors or contributors. If you require professional assistance — for example, regarding a publishing contract, copyright ownership, tax obligations for self-employed writers, or literary representation — please consult a suitably qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
3. Publishing Industry Information
Articles about publishing contracts, advances, royalties, agent commissions, self-publishing platforms, and related topics reflect general industry practices at the time of writing. These practices vary significantly between publishers, territories, genres, and individual negotiations. Nothing in our content should be taken as representing the specific terms you will encounter in your own publishing journey.
4. Writing Craft Advice
Advice about writing craft — including story structure, characterisation, dialogue, pacing, and style — reflects the views of our contributors and editors. Writing is a creative discipline and there are rarely absolute rules. Techniques that work for one writer or genre may not work for another. We encourage you to engage critically with all craft advice and develop your own informed approach.
5. Tool and Service References
References to specific writing tools, software, platforms, or services are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation unless clearly stated. Tool features, pricing, and availability change frequently. Always check the current terms, features, and pricing of any tool before committing to it.
6. AI-Related Guidance
Given the rapidly evolving nature of artificial intelligence and its application to writing, any content we publish about AI writing tools, AI-generated content, and related topics reflects the state of the technology, legal landscape, and industry norms at the time of writing. The legal, ethical, and practical frameworks governing AI in publishing are changing quickly; we strongly recommend seeking current authoritative guidance before making significant decisions related to AI and your writing career.
7. External Links
Laenethy Writers Magazine includes links to external websites and resources. These links are provided for your convenience and information only. We do not control the content of external websites and are not responsible for their accuracy, legality, or any other aspect of their content. The inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of the linked site.
8. No Guarantees of Results
We do not guarantee that following the advice or techniques described in our articles will result in any particular outcome, including publication, literary agent representation, sales success, or career advancement. Writing success depends on many factors, including the quality of your work, market conditions, persistence, timing, and elements beyond any writer's control. We report what has worked for others; results will vary.
